The Textiles Trail will fill the city streets with colour and every form of textiles you can imagine. The trail will be made up of:
- The Community Yarn Bomb.
- A Textiles Open with textile artworks exhibited throughout Leicester’s venues from established, emerging and ‘just-for-fun’ artists from Leicester and the UK.
- Leicester Look Up! – A trail of hanging baskets filled with textiles decoration will bring an abundance of playful and colourful fun around the city.
- City Threads – The Textiles Trail will be connected by a wonderful array of textile decoration inside and outside around Leicester City Centre that the public can follow.
